What does sumphero mean?

Sumphero (4851 in Strong's Concordance) is a verb in Ancient Greek that means to gather, or to bring together and is formed from:

  • sun - with, together

  • pheró - to bear, to carry

It is most often used as a third-person singular verb, but it is sometimes also used as an adjective or participle. The word conveys an action to bring together, to profit someone, or for the benefit of them.
